Join us for the 7th Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts-"Legend City"
The Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts is now planning for its seventh season. As with previous years, PAPA 2012 will include a daytime festival, a procession throughout the streets of downtown Phoenix and an evening block party. Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts draws visitors from all over the valley as a signature, 100% participatory event. We offer advertising opportunities that include on-site banners, listings on promotional materials and on www.phoenixannualparadeofthearts.com. All sponsor applications must be received by August 12, 2012 to ensure maximum visibility on all of the printed materials.
• Billing itself as the “Valley’s first parading art fair” PAPA celebrates the creative culture of the Valley of the Sun and invites everyone from child to pop icon to create an expressive statement and walk it through the streets of downtown Phoenix.
• Long before the procession begins, PAPA exposes its audience to the widest variety of artistic medium. With a main stage featuring amazing national and local performers, as well as multiple street stages showcasing an unparalleled variety of entertainers and vendors exhibiting all nature of works of art. Once the pedestrian parade itself begins it’s a wacky rambling cavalcade of stilt walkers, tricked out bicycles, sassy drum majors, embellished baby-strollers, jugglers, drummers, puppets, fairies, and fashion designers.
• Having survived the harsh, desert summer, Autumn in Phoenix is the beginning of the season of inspiration, creation and prosperity. Many artists, patrons and community members who have “flown” for the summer, return in the Fall for what they love best about the Valley of the Sun. The Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts helps celebrate this changing of the seasons.
